Filmed a wedding here yesterday. One of the best venues I have worked at and I rarely leave google reviews. Staff were polite and helpful. The registrars were not fussy at all as they knew the day is about the couple about to get married (can’t say the same for many other registrars that have a power trip). The venue itself is absolutely stunning for photography and videography. My clients will be over the moon. Can’t wait to come back here in the future.

Food taste great and looks pretty. Obviously the building is old and has a lot of history. It is a listed building and renovation is limited, so don’t expect new age design and slick lines. The 2 outbuilding rooms blocks are different style than pictured, but are still lovely 🤭. The staff are doing their best and are very helpful. The park in the back is huge. It is in the middle of Hitchin but still so quiet. Shopping is 5 minutes down the street.

Having used this venue for business innovation meetings I have always found the facilities to be very good and the staff very happy to accommodate requests.
The food was very good and the accommodation has always been clean and comfortable. I am happy to recommend the facility, it is probably best to call and check it’s facility suits your needs but do so with an open mind.
